December 1968 - April 1969 - Sir Walter St John’s Amateur Boxing Club where he had 12 bouts winning 4.
April 1969 - August 1980 - Battersea Amateur Boxing club, reached the schoolboy championships at different weights also the ABA area finals, National Quarter and semi finals on several occasions. George started to help on the coaching side of in the club after his last bout in January 1979 and left the club in August 1979
September 1984 - March 1991 - Battersea Ironsides Rugby Football Club, playing position of loose head prop forward also helping out coaching unior and schoolboy rugby.
February 1992 - May 2011 - Crawley Amateur Boxing Club where he started to help with coaching and took ABAE Assistant coaching course.
December 1993 - Took Full ABAE coaching course January 1995 - ABAE Registration number 006939
Took position as Head Coach in 2007. During in his time at Crawley ABC, along with the rest of the coaching team he has taken a lot of junior and senior boxers to the Southern Counties finals, Novice finals and the ABAE National semi finals.
May 2011 to present - Battlebridge Amateur Boxing Club - Took over as Head Coach

Danny is currently taking time out of coaching to train himself for two charity events.
On Sunday 04 March 2012 he will be taking part in a rowing event where he will row the equivilent of the River Thames oon a rowing machine to be held at the YMCA in Redhill.
Danny is also in training to run the Brighton Marathon this year as well.
